Cat Project Cat Project

Thorp Construction Company is built on the following core values: Integrity, Communication, Quality Craftsmanship, Teamwork and Pride. We have earned a strong reputation based on these core values.  We take pride in the fact that  both our employees and our customers are happy to be associated with us.

We promise to be available to you for any questions or concerns from our first phone conversation to the final handshake at the completion of the job.  We promise to leave you feeling confident and happy that  you chose to hire the right people to come and work for you.

We work hard to establish a comfortable long lasting relationship with all of our customers, after all, most of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers.

We enjoy being involved in the community.  Recently, Thorp Construction Company helped create a new adoption room called the "Cat Colony" for the Oregon Humane Society. These were to display the cats in a home like setting built out of recycled materials. One of our creations was is a recycled woodstove that we crafted into a cat bed.

The pride and craftsmanship that created beautiful architecture of the 19th and 20th century is a driving force behind who Thorp Construction company is.  We model that same pride of craftsmanship in all that we do.  We are proud of our architectural heritage because it is so beautiful and detailed.

We enjoy collecting items from bygone eras as we do research for homes and buildings that we are restoring.  We share what we find by displaying these artifacts at Heritage Street Fairs and at the Architectural Heritage Center (and our Office).

We belong to the Portland FIR program which allows us to work with only one inspector throughout the entire project and expedite the permitting process. Only a select number of contractors are chosen for this opportunity.

We are certified elite installers for the following suppliers: Timbertech, Stonedeck, Xtendex, Dryspace, Royal Crown Products

We maintain a clean record with Oregon and Washington's Construction Contractors Board.
